Alexandria’s Food and Wine Festival is coming back to town on June 22, 2013. Bringing with us the huge success from last year’s Festival, we are excited to come back.
The selected charity this year is Alive! Inc. Founded in 1969, ALIVE! is the largest private safety net for the needy in the city of Alexandria, addressing short-term to long-term needs for those less fortunate in the community.
We are excited to welcome 15 wineries in our expanded wine garden, more restaurants, and great entertainment.
La Tasca Restaurant from Old Town is sponsoring the famous band of Duende Camaron who plays rhythmic flamenco guitars with singing. The style is pretty much influenced by the flamenco and also has influences from Latin music.
The Festival entertainment also includes Zumba from Pies Yoga Studio who is coming back as well as Hand Painted Swinger and FrankoJazz Reggae band. The event was extended from 12pm to 7pm. We hope to see you there to kick off your summer.
